Recently, our president/Rachel's mom was contacted by Nancy Pickett, the Executive Director of The Golden Truth documentary. The goal of the documentary is to show the truth behind pediatric cancer and they "believe that showing the reality of what kids are facing will stimulate positive change in the childhood cancer community by raising awareness and bringing in funding for research." Nancy had reached out to Rachel over a year ago to do an interview for the documentary. Due to several unforeseen circumstances, the interview wasn't able to happen as scheduled. Mary was graciously willing to do the interview in Rachel's honor on August 1, 2016. The documentary is tentatively scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2017. Stay tuned for more details!
