Books take your mind off of things and can get your imagination soaring. A book can be just what the doctor ordered for a kid or young adult with a cancer diagnosis, especially when they are feeling under the weather. We have had the honor of providing brand new books in the Teen Room at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and will also begin providing kids books at Madigan Army Medical Center this summer! Patients can pick out a book to keep while they are in for a clinic visit or during a hospital stay and that makes our hearts so happy.
