We learned from a recent Seattle Children's Hospital newsletter that on December 11, 2016, The Compassionate Friends/USA set aside a time for a Worldwide Candle Lighting event to honor and remember children who have died. The event unites family and friends everywhere in lighting candles at 7:00pm local time for one hour, which creates a virtual wave of light around the world to honor all of these kids whose lives have ended far too soon. Several of our followers took part in lighting a candle at 7:00 in honor of Rachel and too many others.
